Two youths riding a two-wheeler were killed after their vehicle collided with a bus near Keeranur on Friday.
The police gave the names of the dead as R. Prathas (23) and P. Devaraj (19), both employed in a private company in Chennai.
They were riding two-wheeler to their native place in Tirumayam and the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus was coming from Pudukottai to Tiruchi, police said.
The youths died on the spot.
The Keeranur police have arrested bus driver Swaminathan and registered a case.
