Triple murder case solved; one held

The city police on Friday arrested K. Stalin (30), a native of Tiruvarur district, in connection with the murder of three members of a family at Chettipalayam, near here, on May 6.

Stalin was arrested near Puducherry and the police recovered a six sovereign chain from him. City Police Commissioner S. N. Seshasai said that the accused was employed as the driver of the water lorry owned by K. Sivasubramanian (55), who was one among the three murdered by the accused. The others killed were Sivasubramanian’s wife Saradha (50) and son Naveen (25). - Staff Reporter
