TN CM hands over ₹75 lakh for Chennai film festival

State has been giving ₹50 lakh to the festival from 2012

Information Minister Kadambur C. Raju, chief secretary K. Shanmugam, Information and Public Relations director P. Sankar and senior officials were present.

Tamil Nadu government extended ₹25 lakh for 9th Chennai International Film Festival in 2011 and ₹50 lakh to the festival from 2012.

In 2018, Mr. Edappadi Palaniswami increased the assistance from ₹50 lakh to ₹75 lakh.
