Three children rescued

Three children, who were found seeking alms outside a church in the town, were rescued by Childline 1098 officials.

Based on a tipoff, officials visited the place and found the boys aged, 7 years and 5 years and the girl aged three years seeking alms. A native of Ammapalayam in Perambalur, they were involved in seeking alms along with their mother. They were rescued by the officials and produced before the Child Welfare Committee. It was decided to admit the children to pursue education and provide rehabilitation assistance to their parents.
