Students raise AIDS awareness

In a bid to raise awareness of AIDS prevention, National Cadet Corps (NCC) students of St. Lasalle Higher Secondary School and St. Francis Xavier Higher Secondary School here took out a rally, which commenced on beach road here on Tuesday.

The campaigners reached out to the public with a message and passed through Victoria Extension Road concluding the rally on St. Lasalle School on George Road here.

The rally was flagged off by D. Peppin, Headmaster, St. Lasalle School in the presence of Correspondent Bro. Robert, Commanding Officer, Lt. Commander S. Raviraman of 3 (TN) Naval Unit, NCC Officer of St. Lasalle School A. Wellington, NCC Officer of St. Francis Xavier School Gilbert and Army Officer Siluvai.
