DMK president MK Stalin on Sunday said if the reports that political leaders’ phones were under illegal surveillance were true, then the Union Government owed an explanation to the country.

“The Government must also launch a fair inquiry guided by the Supreme Court’s ruling on the right to privacy,” he tweeted.
