Skill training programme

A skill training programme for employment in private security agencies will be imparted to the youth in the district.

The programme, jointly organised under the aegis of the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation and the Tamil Nadu police, will be a certificate-course for a period of 21 days.

The programme envisions free skill training for women and men, between 18 and 45 years of age.

The applicant must be physically fit and have a minimum educational qualification of standard eighth. The training programme will be held from 9.30am to 5.30pm. The trainees will be provided with tea and lunch during the training period. Private security organisations will conduct a recruitment camp at the conclusion of the programme.

According to an administration release, 250 candidates are proposed to be selected for the training in the district. Interested persons may submit their applications at Hosur Government ITI on May 14 and May 15 from 10am to 5pm. The candidates will be selected from 3pm onwards on May 15.

The applicants are required to bring proof of education, address, community, along with two passport size photographs and PDS card. Further, all documents must be enclosed with two photocopies of the aforementioned documents.
