The State Government would provide financial assistance to students belonging to the backward class, most backward class and denotified communities who had studied in the Government schools and secured high marks in the SSLC public examinations for pursuing their higher secondary course in well known private schools.
Scholarship would be provided to ten bright students of this district – five boys and five girls – of these communities.
The annual income of their parents should not exceed Rs. one lakh.
Eligible candidates can contact the office of the District Backward Class Welfare Officer functioning at the collectorate for further details, an official press release issued here on Friday said.
