AISMK leader Sarathkumar welcomed the initiatives taken by the AIADMK government on Thursday for bringing investments to the State by organising the Global Investors Meet for the second time. In a statement, Mr. Sarathkumar said that GIM 2019 would propel Tamil Nadu into first place amongst other Indian states as the preferred destination for investors.
“Tamil Nadu contributes 8.4% of India’s growth. GIM 2019 will increase Tamil Nadu’s share and improve Tamil Nadu’s stature,” he said.
He further said that he was happy with Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s statement that investments that have come in exceed the Rs. 2 lakh crore limit that was fixed.
