’The house and other property owners of Vellore Corporation have been asked to pay the current dues as well as arrears of property tax, water fees, profession tax and shop rent / lease immediately in order to avoid distraint proceedings, legal proceedings and disconnection of water supply.
The tax collection centres of the Corporation would function on Saturdays and Sundays also in order to facilitate the public to remit the taxes and other fees, says a release from P. Janaki Raveendran, Commissioner of the Corporation.
