Producers Council seeks action against piracy of Baahubali 2

May 08, 2017 01:14 am | Updated 01:14 am IST - CHENNAI:

Tamil Film Producers Council president Vishal Krishna and a delegation of members submitted a petition to the Commissioner of Police on Sunday seeking legal action against piracy of the film, Baahubali 2 .

In their petition, the members pointed out that the film, which took four years to make, was released on April 28, but was pirated online by the ‘internet mafias’ in the name of Tamil Rockers and has been uploaded in several of their websites for illegal downloads.

The members stated that they had received a complaint from the movie-makers and that they have identified many websites where the film content is available for illegal download. The members also attached a list of the IP addresses and a copy of the complaint letter given by the film-makers.
