Painting competition for schoolchildren

The YMCA Salem will organise ‘Paint Fest 2015’— annual painting competition for school students in the city on January 26.

The competition will be held in 14 groups – one group for each standard – at the YMCA campus in the city. The students can draw any picture using watercolours, crayons, sketch pen etc and they should bring their own colouring materials.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the first three places in each group and participation certificates will be given to all students. The students should bring bona fide certificates from their respective institutions, a press release from M. John Michel Jose, general secretary, YMCA, said.

Registration

Interested students should register their names directly or through the schools with the General Secretary, YMCA, 123 / 114, YMCA – Bretts road, Salem – 636 001 (Phone No. 2450500) on or before January 24.

The students can draw any picture using watercolours, crayons, sketch pen etc., and they should bring their own colouring materials
