Narayanasamy sends reply to notice

Union Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V. Narayanasamy has sent an interim reply to the legal notice served on him by S.P. Udayakumar, convenor of People's Movement Against Nuclear Energy (PMANE).

Mr. Udayakumar had demanded an apology from Mr. Narayanasamy for making an allegation that the NGO run by him had received foreign funds to the tune of Rs.1.50 crore.

Advocate Y. Senthil Raj, who has sent the interim reply on behalf of Mr Narayansamy, said that he was preparing a detailed reply, which would be sent in two weeks. The reply has been sent to Mr. Udayakumar's advocate M. Radhakrishnan.

He requested Mr. Radhakarishnan to advise Mr. Udayakumar to refrain from initiating any litigation against the minister.
