Sterlite Copper on Friday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Tuticorin Medical College Hospital for the construction of the first floor of Sterlite Paediatric Block at a cost of Rs. 70 lakh under its Corporate Social Responsibility programme. The MoU was signed by Dean Edwin Joe and Chief Operating Officer of Sterlite Copper Pankaj Kumar. A statement from Sterlite Copper said that the company constructed the paediatric block with 50 beds a few years ago. The first floor would have additional 50 beds.
