Police have arrested a man for allegedly misbehaving with his daughter. Police said P. Sankarasubbu (46) of Cheranmahadevi misbehaved with his 12-year-old daughter on several occasions when she was sleeping next to him. When the affected girl informed her mother about the incident, she filed a complaint with Cheranmahadevi police. Based on the complaint, the police arrested Sankarasubbu on Thursday.
In another incident, Ambasamudram All Women Police arrested an 18-year-old youth from Kattalaikudiyiruppu on Thursday for allegedly sexually assaulting a 17-year-old polytechnic student in the guise of marrying her.
