Large turnout at fest

A large number of devotees offered worship to Sri Kazhumalai Amman, one of the ancient temples near Sirkali and under the maintenance of Dharmapuram Adheenam, on the occasion of mahakumbabhishekam on Wednesday. Sri Tirugnanasambandar Thambiran Swamigal from the Adheenam was among those who witnessed the celebrations.

Tourism office opened

A new tourism office for the district has been opened, according to a note issued here. Till now, the tourism development projects were executed by the Tourism Officer of Sivaganga.. Ilangovan has assumed charge as the District Tourism Officer. Tourists and ancient history lovers can contact the Tourism Officer for gathering any tourism-related information.
