Karunanidhi's appeal to party workers

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president M. Karunanidhi has appealed to his party members not to try and meet him in person to greet him on his 87th birthday on Friday.

“Apart from visits to the memorials to Anna and Periyar, I am in no state of mind to participate in any other function,” he said in a statement. He requested party functionaries not to insist on greeting him in person.
