The 10-day jamabandhi, which commenced in all taluks in the district on Tuesday, will go on till May 28. Collector, K.S.Palanisamy, participated in the jamabandhi at Thuraiyur taluk. Speaking on the occasion, Mr.Palanisamy said members of the public can submit petitions during the jamabandhis. Action would be initiated on the petitions received in Thuraiyur on Tuesday within a week, he said.
