Electoral rolls purification camp today

A special camp will be held under the National Electoral Rolls Purification and Authentication Programme (NERPAP) in all polling stations in Vellore district on May 10.

According to a release from R. Nanthagopal, Collector of Vellore, voters who have their names included in more than one polling station can visit the concerned stations and get their names deleted by submitting form 7.

Form no. 8 can be submitted for corrections in names, addresses and other details.

Relevant forms can be submitted also for inclusion of Aadhaar number and e-mail id in the electoral rolls so as to enable the voters to receive information related to elections and electoral rolls.

Designated polling station/standing officers will receive the applications at the polling stations. The Collector has requested the voters to avail of this opportunity.
