Collector receives 392 petitions

Vellore Collector R. Nanthagopal received 392 petitions from the public at the weekly public grievances redressal day camp at the Collectorate here on Monday.

The petitions included 14 received though the organisations engaged in the welfare of the differently-abled.

The Collector directed the officials to take immediate action on the petitions. Anand Chakravarthi, special deputy collector (special programme implementation); Kandasamy, District Supply Officer; Neelaveni, District Adi Dravidar Welfare Officer; Ameer Basha, District Backward Classes Welfare Officer; and Subbiah, Assistant Director of Village Panchayats participated.
