ASSOCHAM award for knitwear institute

NIFT-TEA College of Knitwear Fashion has bagged the silver trophy instituted by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) for the Best Institute in the women skill development category at the national-level.

K. G. Sivagyanam, vice-principal of the institute, received the award at a function held in New Delhi on Tuesday, according to a release here. Sources said that the award was in recognition for the programme initiated by the institute to impart skill development training to women workers in apparel and allied industries.
