Aravakurichi DSP questioned

The CB-CID team investigating the suicide of Tiruchengode Deputy Superintendent of Police R. Vishnupriya held inquiries with her friend and Aravakurichi DSP Geethanjali whose name was mentioned in the suicide note that went viral on social media recently.

The two-page note written by Vishnupriya on July 15 asked her mother to handover Rs. 4,000 to Geethanjali. Hence, the team led by G. Nagajothi, Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch CID, held inquires with Ms.Geethanjali at the CB-CID office in Salem on Sunday.

Agency sources said that she was questioned about the money, their interactions and discussions, and about the Gokulraj case.
