Vacancies for the posts of social worker for the district juvenile justice committee is proposed to be filled under the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, here in the district. Applications are invited from eligible social workers in the district for the two posts (one female and one male), that will be compensated on the basis of monthly stipend.
The applicant must have had minimum of 7 years of experience in physical health or education and should be between 35 years and 65 years of age.
The applicants with a graduation in social work, sociology, psychology, criminology, economics, psychiatry, education or medicine will be given preference
Those presently occupying the position of members in the Juvenile Justice committees are eligible to apply for a second term. Applications may be downloaded from http:/www.tn.gov.in/department/30 and duly filled applications must be sent to the Commissioner, Social Welfare Department, Purasaiwalkam highway, Kelly’s, Chennai-10. The applications must reach the aforementioned address by July 3.
