Anna University exams rescheduled in flood-hit areas

In an unprecedented move, Anna University here will conduct semester examinations following different timetables – one for students of flood-hit colleges in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Cuddalore from December 28 and another for those studying in other districts from Tuesday.

The university, on Monday, informed its decision to the Madras High Court’s First Bench comprising Chief Justice S.K. Kaul and Justice T.S. Sivagnanam, which was hearing an urgent mention of a petition moved by Abdul Kalam Vision India Trust, which submitted that the downpour affected students in many parts of the State.
