“The AIADMK is ready to face elections in any form,” Chief Minister Edpappadi K. Palaniswami said on Friday.

Regarding the recommendation of The Law Commission of India for simultaneous elections to the Lok Sabha and the State Assemblies, he said a consensus had not been reached on this issue and that as per the people’s mandate, his government was entitled to run till 2021.

He said that the AIADMK had no complaints against the electronic voting machines or the ballot system.

Referring to allegations made by the opposition that his government was corrupt, he said the State was a front-runner in implementing various programmes.
