A road to safety paved with school students’ models

School students displayed models highlighting the need for adhering to traffic rules at a Road Safety Exhibition organised by the Police Department and the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Vellore district branch at the Sri Venkateswara Higher Secondary School here on Wednesday.

One of the models highlighted the importance of wearing helmets by two-wheeler riders in order to prevent head injuries during accidents involving the vehicles and thus protect their lives.

Mani, Traffic Inspector and Nagarajan, Inspector of Police, Vellore South Police Station inaugurated the exhibition. Indernath, Secretary of the IRCS branch and M. Usha Nandini, Councillor of Vellore Corporation were among those who participated in the exhibition.
