S. A. Raja released from prison

S.A. Raja, an educationist, was released from Palayamkottai Central Prison, Tirunelveli, on Saturday, following his acquittal in the murder case of former Minister Aladi Aruna. “It is a victory for justice from the Supreme Court and the Almighty has listened to my prayers. It's God's grace and I will not be disgraced in continuing my service to education,” he said after his release from prison. A group of people, staff members and his well wishers cheered, when he was freed. Mr. Raja was imprisoned following conviction in the murder case.
