Veteran Tamil film cinematographer P.N. Sundaram

Veteran Tamil film cinematographer P.N. Sundaram, known for his work in Adimaipenn and Oli Vilakku , has died. He was 82.

Sundaram had worked in films starring top stars including the late M.G. Ramachandran, ‘Sivaji’ Ganesan and Jayalalithaa and had also worked in other language films including Hindi and Malayalam.

AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa condoled Sundaram’s death and said he remained on top for nearly five decades.

Meanwhile, the Film Employees’ Federation of South India (FEFSI) and Producers’ Association announced cancellation of all shootings scheduled for Tuesday.

The cinematographer is survived by a son and two daughters.
