8 AIADMK MPs skip meeting with CM

Eight Members of Parliament of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) on Monday skipped a meeting chaired by the party coordinator and co-coordinator, O. Pannerselvam and Edappadi K Palaniswami respectively at the party headquarters.

They included M. Thambi Durai, Deputy Speaker in the Lok Sabha; S.R. Balasubramoniyan and Anwhar Raajhaa. Asked why they had not attended the meeting, D. Jayakumar, Fisheries Minister, replied that they had informed the party leadership in advance about their inability to attend the meeting due to “domestic reasons.”
