200 colleges participate in technoVIT’18 carnival

Over 10,000 students compete across 205 events

Over 10,000 students from across 200 colleges participated in the fourth edition of technoVIT’18, a knowledge and technical carnival held at VIT Chennai.

The tech festival saw over 205 national and international events, including robothon, ideathon, buildathon and hackathon. The event ended on Saturday.

Dheeraj Kumar, Principal Secretary, Department of Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Government of Tamil Nadu, who was the chief guest for the valedictory function, stressed on the benefits of sports and technology to reach out to more people for better delivery.

Impressions magazine was released by Mr. Kumar on the occasion.
