As many as 18,065 applications have been received so far for summary revision of electoral rolls currently in progress in the district. It included 13,196 applications for inclusion of names of new voters, said Darez Ahamed, District Collector. The Collector, who inspected the progress of summary revision at a special camp at Government Primary School in Naranamangalam near here on Sunday, said that verification of the applications had been taken up. He said the revision would be taken up till October 24.
