Science academies offer summer fellowship

The Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore; the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi; and the National Academy of Science in Allahabad have announced a fellowship programme, under which students and teachers could work with eminent scientists during the next summer vacation.

Under the programme, students would work with the scientists on short-term projects for two months.

The fellowship would cover the travel expenses of those selected [round-trip train fare] and provide a fixed amount to meet the living expenditures at their places of work.

The last date for application online is December 31. Those selected would be informed by early next March.
