Petrol bunks to be closed on Oct. 13

Newly formed United Petroleum Front threatens indefinite closure from Oct. 27

Petroleum dealers of public sector oil companies have called for a one-day closure of the outlets on October 13 seeking the removal of trade bottlenecks.

This will be followed by an indefinite closure of purchase from October 27 till the “trade anomalies are resolved,” the United Petroleum Front, comprising three national bodies that represents 54,000 dealers, said in Mumbai on Saturday. In case of such a protest, only company-owned and -operated outlets will function.
