A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan was injured as Pakistani troops violated ceasefire agreement and fired upon personnel of the Force on the International Border (IB) in Jammu’s Arnia Sector on Friday morning.

A Jammu based BSF spokesman said ''Pakistan Rangers fired few bullets warning our troops working ahead of the fence on a tractor in Arnia Sector, Jammu. Our troops retaliated with a few rounds. Some exchange of mortar shell also took place.”

On Wednesday night, one woman was killed and two civilians were injured in Pakistan firing in Rajouri district’s Meandhar area.
