Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday said that he would soon “expose the truth” behind the Rs.1.25-lakh-crore special package announced recently by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the poll-bound state.

Mr. Kumar was speaking after the inauguration of several projects worth Rs 19,499 crore on Sunday.

“Soon I’ll bring out the truth... only a few things remain (to be worked out) to expose the package announced by the Prime Minister,” the Chief Minister said.

At a function in Ara, Mr Modi had announced Rs 1.65-lakh-crore package for Bihar for its development and growth.

Mr Kumar said that several ongoing projects worth thousands of crores of rupees were included in the special package. “Even projects that would benefit other states were included,” he said.
