The victim Satish Patil, who was posted in the 17 Engineers Regiment, suffered three wounds on his chest, but is likely to survive, said a senior police officer.

His is currently admitted to the Army hospital in the city. The police said on Wednesday that they had not been able to speak to him yet and were waiting for him to recover before interacting with him.
