Modi visits Dhakeswari Kali temple

More than 30 members of the minority community in Bangladesh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Sunday. Mr. Modi spent about 15 minutes in the city’s iconic Dhakeswari Kali temple and exchanged pleasantries with the community’s representatives. He shook hands with them but hardly spoke to anyone. Mr. Modi also visited the Ramakrishna Mission (RKM) and spent 20 minutes with monks, many of whom knew him for nearly half a century since he first interacted with the order.
