Security forces unearthed a militant hideout on Saturday and recovered a cache of explosives in the Macchil sector near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Acting on specific information, a police team launched a search in the forests of Kungdooru and unearthed the hideout, an official spokesman said.
Five hand grenades, 12 mortar shells and five mortar fuses were also recovered during the searches.
