October 27, 2015 03:08 am | Updated March 24, 2016 09:41 pm IST - MUMBAI:

Maharashtra will request the Centre to allow taking underworld gangster Chhota Rajan to Mumbai after he is deported to India.

Ram Shinde, Minister of State for Home, made this announcement hours after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) confirmed that the arrested person in Bali was Chhota Rajan.

“Chhota Rajan is wanted in several cases in the State. Once he is deported and Central investigation agencies are done investigating him, we will request the Centre to first send him here so that we can extract information from him in the cases for which he is wanted here,” said Mr. Shinde.
