Subsidised LPG cylinders would now be dearer by Rs. 3, after the government hiked the commission payable to dealers.

Dealer commission, which had not been revised since December last year, was increased by Rs.3 last week, taking it to Rs.43.71.

The increase in commission, which came into effect on Thursday last week, takes the retail price of subsidised LPG in Delhi to Rs 417 per 14.2-kg cylinder, up from Rs 414.

In Mumbai, LPG would now cost Rs.883.50 per 14.2 kg cylinder.

The hike would also be applicable to non-subsidised LPG, which would now cost Rs. 883.50.
