BJP leader Gopinath Munde on Monday said the Jharkhand government formation issue would be sorted out in a week.

Speaking to journalists here, the MP said the BJP was still talking to the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. The JMM Parliamentary Board too had announced that it had no objection to the BJP getting the Chief Minister's post. But, it was for the BJP Parliamentary Board to take a decision.

Mr. Munde said there was nothing wrong in the BJP heading the government in Jharkhand and getting the Chief Minister's post.

He said the party had accepted JMM leader Shibu Soren's apology that he made a mistake by voting for the UPA during the vote on the Opposition-sponsored cut motion in the Lok Sabha.

The BJP perceived no threat from Babulal Marandi (Jharkhand Vikas Morcha) who was trying to regain power.
