The Department of English at EMEA College of Arts and Science, Kondotty, conducted a workshop on international poetry over the weekend. Canadian British poet Abdul Wadood Paul Sutherland inaugurated the workshop.

Mr. Sutherland said poetry should be an outcome of imagination, inspiration, and editing. “It gets coloured with our observation,” he said. He asked the students to ‘observe, observe and observe.” Students of English from neighbouring colleges attended the workshop.
