An exhibition of paintings by C.A. Seby — titled ‘Shadows’ — concluded at the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi art gallery at Kottakkunnu here on Saturday.

Good crowds

The exhibition, which began on Wednesday, attracted good crowds not only because of the uniqueness of the paintings, but because of their theme.

“I have dealt with the theme of restlessness of the human soul in my paintings. We seem to be in a slumber, a slumber which is leading human beings to further confusions and complications,” Mr. Seby said, referring to some of his works.

As many as 30 paintings done in oil and acrylic were on display at the Akademi art gallery.
