Two persons from Kollam were killed after a lorry rammed their jeep at Pathirapally on at 5 a.m. on Sunday. The deceased were identified as Pradeep, 28, and Suresh, 38, from Karunagapally in Kollam. They were on their way to Kozhikode. The lorry driver had reportedly dozed off.
The bodies were handed over to relatives after post-mortem at the Medical College Hospital, Alappuzha. Pradeep is survived by his wife, Raji, and son Arjun, 4; while Suresh is survived by his wife, Leji, daughter Gouthami, 6, and son Gouthaman, 4.
