Truth will be out, says Achuthanandan

July 06, 2012 02:17 am | Updated 02:17 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

Leader of the Opposition V.S. Achuthanandan has said that he is convinced that the truth about the Kozhikode ice cream parlour case would come out some day.

Reacting to the report that the Supreme Court has directed the authorities to hand over a copy of the ice cream parlour case investigation report to him, Mr. Achuthanandan told reporters here on Thursday that the Supreme Court verdict was a blow to the State government. The State government was in the forefront of the efforts to scuttle the case, he pointed out.

Mr. Achuthanandan said that he would appear before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court in Kozhikode on Friday in connection with the ice cream parlour case as instructed by the court.
