Trains to be regulated on Saturday, Sunday

Railways have announced regulations in train services on May 26 and 27 to take up the second and third phase of regirdering of a railway bridge in the Pudukkad-Ollur section. The old steel girders of the rail bridge are being replaced with new girders to increase strength and safety. The final phase of the regirdering will be carried out on June 2.

Train 56370 Ernakulam-Guruvayur Passenger, 56371 Guruvayur-Ernakulam Passenger, 56362 Ernakulam-Nilambur Passenger, 56363 Nilambur-Ernakulam Passenger, 56381 Ernakulam-Kayamkulam Passenger, 56382 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger, 56377 Alappuzha-Kayamkulam Passenger and 56380 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger had been cancelled on both days.

Partial cancellation

Train 16305 Ernakulam-Kannur Intercity Express will be partially cancelled in the Ernakulam Junction-Thrissur section on May 26 and 27. It will start from Thrissur to Kannur at 8.10 a.m.

Train 12076 Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Janshatabdi Express will be short-terminated at Ernakulam Junction on both days. Train 12075 Kozhikode-Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdi Express will be partially cancelled between Kozhikode and Ernakulam Junction and the train will start from Ernakulam Junction at 5.30 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, 16791 Punalur-Palakkad Palaruvi Express will be partially cancelled between Aluva and Palakkad. Train 16792 Palakkad-Punalur Palaruvi Express will be partially cancelled between Palakkad and Aluva and start from Aluva at 6.27 p.m.

Train 16302 Thiruvananthapuram-Shoranur Venad Express will be partially cancelled between Angamaly and Shoranur on May 26 and 27. Train 16301 Shoranur-Thiruvananthapuram Express will start from Angamaly at 3.55 p.m. since the train is partially cancelled between Shoranur Junction and Angamaly on both days.

Rescheduling

On both days, 16606 Nagercoil-Mangaluru Ernad Express will depart from Nagercoil only at 3.40 a.m. and the train will be further regulated for 80 minutes at Ernakulam-Pudukkad section.

Train 13352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express will depart from Alappuzha only at 7.55 a.m. on both days and the train will have regulation for 120 minutes in the Ernakulam-Pudukkad section. On both days, 12678 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express will depart from Ernakulam Junction at 11.40 a.m.

On May 26 and 27, 56365 Guruvayur-Edaman Passenger will depart from Guruvayur at 6.45 a.m. Train 16332 Thiruvananthapuram-Mumbai CSMT Weekly Express will depart from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 5.25 a.m. and the train will be further regulated for 80 minutes in the Ernakulam-Pudukkad section.

Regulation

Train 16650 Nagercoil-Mangaluru Parasuram Express will be regulated for 80 minutes, 17229 Thiruvananthapuram-Hyderabad Sabari Express for 60 minutes, and 12617 Ernakulam-Hazrat Nizamuddin Mangala Lakshwadeep Express for 30 minutes in Ernakulam-Pudukkad section on May 26 and 27.

Train 12217 Kochuveli-Chandigarh Sampark Kranti Express will be regulated for 45 minutes on May 26, 22620 Tirunelveli-Bilaspur Weekly Express will be regulated for 140 minutes on May 27 and 12202 Kochuveli-Lokmanyatilak Garibrath Express will be regulated for 45 minutes in the Ernakulam-Pudukkad section on May 27.

Additional stoppage

Train 22646 Thiruvananthapuram-Indore Ahalyanagari Weekly Express will stop at all stations between Kayamkulam and Ernakulam on May 26 as 56380 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger has been cancelled. Train 12512 Thiruvananthapuram-Gorakhpur Raptisagar Express will stop at all stations between Kayamkulam and Ernakulam on May 27 as 56380 Kayamkulam-Ernakulam Passenger has been cancelled.
