Train regulations from tonight

Railways have announced regulation in train services during night hours from May 10 to June 16, except on Tuesdays. This is to facilitate complete track renewal in the Karukutty-Kalamassery section.

Train 16128 Guruvayur-Chennai Egmore Express will have a late start from Guruvayur at 11.25 p.m. on some days from May 10 to June 16, except on May 15, 22, 29, June 5 and 12, according to Railways.

Train 16348 Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram Express will be regulated for 110 minutes in the Karukutty-Chalakudy section on May 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17; 90 minutes in the Chalakudy-Irinjalakuda section on May 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30 and 31 and June 1; 60 minutes in the Karukutty-Chalakkudy section on June 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16. Train 16344 Madurai-Thiruvananthapuram Amrita Express will also be regulated for 40 minutes at Pudukkad on May 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17; 40 minutes at Chalakudy on May 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31 and June 1; and 40 minutes at Aluva station on June 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 and 16. Weekly express trains will have regulation of 40-140 minutes between Pudukkad and Aluva during the night from May 10 to June 16, except on Tuesdays.
