The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) will strictly implement the order of the High Court regarding Annadanam (free food) for Sabarimala pilgrims, Devaswom Commissioner C.P. Ramaraja Prasad has said.

The Commissioner visited Sabarimala, Pampa and Nilackal on Friday, exploring the modalities for the smooth conduct of the Annadanam during the ensuing pilgrim season.

Mr. Prasad said the TDB had a stable Annadanam Fund mobilised through contribution from devotees.

Work on mandapam

The work on the Annadana Mandapam at Pampa Manalpuram was fast progressing and its ground floor would be commissioned by November 15, he said.

He said the TDB would take steps to serve food and medicated drinking water to all pilgrims visiting Sabarimala.
