October 01, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:45 am IST - THRISSUR:

A man who came for a sitting of the Women’s Commission vomited and collapsed in front the panel here on Wednesday. Dhanapalan, 33, of Koratty, was shifted to a hospital by the police as he became unconscious. The police said he had consumed some poison. His condition was now stable, they said. Dhanapalan came for the sitting as his wife Sheeba had filed a complaint against him at the Women’s Commission. She alleged that Dhanapalan was not providing maintenance for her and their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter.

However, before the panel could take up the compliant he collapsed. The sitting was disrupted for sometime following the incident.
