Chief Minister visits relief camp at Chalakudy

The State government is with the people who are hit by the devastating floods and they will be provided with all protection, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said.

People whose houses are damaged in the floods will be rehabilitated in camps with full facilities till their houses are repaired totally.

People of Kerala stood united against one of the worst floods the State had ever witnessed, the Chief Minister said while interacting with the people at a relief camp at Panampilly Memorial College, Chalakudy, on Thursday.

The Chief Minister, who reached the camp by noon and spent more than half an hour there.

Revenue Minister E. Chandrasekharan, Agriculture Minister V.S. Sunil Kumar, Education Minister C. Raveendranth, Innocent. MP, B.D. Devassy MLA, District Collector T.V. Anupama and State Police Chief Loknath Behera accompanied the Chief Minster during the visit.
